War Service: WW2. Royal New Zealand Airforce, May 1943 to October 1945. Service # NZ4310136.
Family: Married Ruth Martin, 1950. Children: Delys, (Wood). Malcolm. Vicki, (Davey)
Business: Commenced own industrial electrical operation in 1950. combined with manufacturing operation established in 1960 building automatic systems controls for the sawmilling industry. Exported to Australia and the Pacific Islands. Introduced computer controlled equipment in 1975. Used company aircraft and pilot licence to install and service products throughout New Zealand.
Retired 1986 and now living in Whangamata, NZ. Commenced collating "Anzac Jack" material in 1990 and published in 2004. An important feature of the book is that it consists mainly of letters written by the soldier during WW1 to his mother, his sisters and his niece. As a result they are couched in terms which will give no offence to readers young or old.
